We are pleased to announce the second
annual PACA Community Coaching Connection awardees. Every
year around the holidays, the PACA Executive Board identifies
one or more worthy nonprofit organizations to which we
make a contribution. Starting in 2006, this contribution
has been the award of in-kind services of pro-bono coaching.

This is our gift to the community with
PACA coach volunteers to do this worthy work.
The initiative will be coordinated by
PACA members Robert Isaacson (Vice President, Corporate
Affairs) who initiated the program, and Jim Marley (Vice
President, Marketing).
The awards were formally made to representatives
from each organization at PACA's Holiday Party.
A
drum roll please!
This year's award winners are:
• Catholic Social Services.
This is the social services arm of the Archdiocese of
Philadelphia, the Catholic Church. Coaching will supplement
a leadership development program involving upper mid-level
administrators throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

Village. This is a child welfare agency affiliated
with the Presbyterian Church. Coaching will assist PCV's
senior management team as the agency goes through a transition
with its long-time executive director leaving and a new
person soon to be hired. Darlene Hewitt,
Vice President of Programs, accepted the award on behalf
of PCV.
• Great Valley Community
Partnership for Healthy Youth. Affiliated with
the Upper Main Line YMCA, PHY mobilizes various communities
to reduce the risky behaviors of young people. Coaching
will help the organization with strategic planning, determining
its future focus and funding. Community mobilizer,
