In this dynamic, interactive session, participants will engage in a Q-Storming session, learn the mechanics of the method, and explore some practical applications. The presentation portion sets the context by highlighting the power of questions and includes stories and two inquiry models.
Q-Storming™ is a high-impact question-centered collaborative and creative thinking practice widely used by consultants and coaches for multiple purposes in virtually any professional setting. Q-Storming is also utilized by managers and leaders, educators and counselors, HR professionals and learning professionals.
While Q-Storming is most often done with a group or team, it is also effectively used in goal-directed conversations, especially in coaching, management, or even sales contexts. It can be conducted “in person” or “virtually” and is typically used as part of a meeting or project, especially when exploring ideas and possibilities.
Following Marilee’s presentation, you will be able to:
- Know more distinctions about the power of questions, especially internal questions (QuestionThinking)
- Conduct a Q-Storming Session!
- Gain insight and tools into using questions more effectively with coaching clients to guide them to come up with their own best answers
