What makes her special is her enthusiasm and how she modeled jumping in as a new member. Her positive energy, knowledge and can-do attitude helped make the conference a tremendous success. She helped the committee get clarity on what the conference committee needed so she could gather the right volunteers.

A note regarding the award
PACA member Susan “Suze” Race passed away August 5th, 2008.
Susan was a long-time coach, founding member of PACA and consummate volunteer in the PACA community. In addition to serving as a PACA Board member and chairing the Coaching Week Committee, Suze donated her time to the Board Nomination Committee from 2005 to 2007 and was an inspirational speaker at our most recent PACA Collaboration Event.
In honor of Susan's delightful spirit, energy, enthusiasm and exceptional contribution to PACA, the Volunteer of the Year Award has been renamed:
